Title AB789 Passes California Senate Appropriations Committee!

We are happy to inform you that the Hepatitis Screening and Linkage to Care bill, AB 789 was approved by the Senate Appropriations Committee on July 15, 2021.

After the summer recess, the bill will then be presented to the full Senate in August for a vote. Once the bill passes the Senate Floor, it will go back to the Assembly for a final vote and then to the Governor by September/October to sign into law.
